The Blender ISOMETER® iso165C-1 is a CAN-enabled ground-fault monitoring device (IMD) for ungrounded DC drive systems (IT systems) in electric vehicles. It’s rich feature-set makes it desirable for many applications:
Continuous measurement of the insulation resistance 0…50 MΩ, with response values adjustable via CAN.
Support for AC and DC IT systems up to 0…600 V.
A CAN interface which runs at 500 kBaud, and has no internal terminating resistor. It includes 2 additional High-Side drivers for “fault message” and “response value”.
Power supply suitable for DC 9…16 V.
It is light weight at <220g.
It has a response time of ≤ 20 s for measured insulation resistance (using Direct Current Pulse (DCP)).
It can automatically adapt to the existing system’s leakage capacitance (≤ 1 μF) and is able to detect ground faults and lost ground line.
